WATM were recently announced as the successful tenderer for the supply of a New 250 tonne class crane for Roy Hill. Our team has since delivered the new Grove GMK5250L, 250 Tonne Capacity, 5 axle All Terrain Crane to their mining operation, located approximately 1130 km north – northeast of Perth.
The Grove GMK5250L leads its class with the strongest capacity in a current five axle crane. Features include the 70m boom, one engine technology, disc brakes, VIAB turbo clutch for wear free starting and stopping, self-rigging aux hoist, new common control operating system and global counterweight that allows 21 tonne to remain on the crane with the boom in the rest for site use. WATM will be supporting this crane from our Newman Depot in conjunction with our main two locations in Bayswater.
